Since 2008, Norah Garcia has maintained a Gratz equipped studio. True Pilates Mexico is the only studio in Mexico representing True Pilates and their way of classically driven teaching.
True Pilates Mexico is committed to teaching and disseminating the Pilates method in all of its purity, true to the original methods developed by Joseph Pilates.

PEOPLE

Instructor Norah Garcia was born and raised in Mexico City and she trained for 6 years in sports driven medicine. In 2000 continued her education in "la Clinica Deportiva" of San Juan, Puerto Rico receiving a diploma in physical education. In 2003 she explored Pilates training, and was certified in New York in 2007 directly by the successor of Joseph Pilates, the renowned Master Teacher Romana Kryzanowska, her daughter Sari Mejia Santo and her granddaughter Daria Pace who belong to the organization of Romana's Pilates. The classical training she received in New York along with several other continuing education opportunities around the world she took advantage of led her to create True Pilates Mexico. Her passion and knowledge for Pilates makes her a valued member of the Pilates community as a whole.

EQUIPMENT

Norah believes that working with Gratz Pilates apparatus is crucial because if one uses anything other then the original design, the results will not be as intended by Joseph Pilates. All of the devices invented by Joseph and made by Gratz were conceived and designed in relation to the human body and the training that is done with it.
