THE HIGH BRIDGE | CONTOUR MAT
"The High Bridge, a full expression of front body opening, is further challenged by adding a balance component to the opening. The leg extension on the High Bridge One Leg or Single Leg High Bridge should line directly up with the hip to add the control of the lift of the leg. In these exercises the hips and shoulders or “Box” must remain square and the chest open. The Contour Mat helps to open the chest and execute the exercise correctly by shifting the weight more into the upper back and out of the lower back. The Contour Mat acts like the Push Up Bars and removes pressure from the wrist and enables the wrist to remain straight for a deep arm/ back connection." - Kathryn Ross-Nash
