“During our training program for teachers, we had the chance to test different brand of equipment, and their aim is to look like Gratz. In our humble opinion, they are not even close to Gratz. Every detail matters to practice true contrology, and we are proud representatives of the brand in our studio. Our clients let us know how good they feel in these magic inventions developed by Joe.”
- Irene Alarcón - Owner & Instructor
Pilatecnic Contrology Studio
We are located in the city of Seville, in the neighbourhood of Triana close to the city center. Pilatecnic Contrology Studio is a temple to contrology: your body and spirit! We have created a pleasant space to take care of yourself and to take refuge from the haste of the working life.
We believe in Joseph’s original method. Our studio is focused on personal sessions; however, we also believe that Joseph wanted to spread Contology among every social class, so that is why we also offer group sessions.
We do not conceive teaching without Gratz equipment: it is a self-instructive guide for our clients and the gear conforms to their bodies. During our training program for teachers, we had the chance to test different brand of equipment, and their aim is to look like Gratz. In our humble opinion, they are not even close to Gratz. Every detail matters to practice true contrology, and we are proud representatives of the brand in our studio. Our clients let us know how good they feel in these magic inventions developed by Joe.
Irene Alarcón is the mastermind behind Pilatecnic. She combines her two worlds at the Studio: Business and teaching.
Before Irene discovered Pilates, she completed her business management studies and, after that, she taught at the University of Seville. She has always been practicing some sort of "Pilates" workout, but it was in 2016 when she discovered the Pilates Method through Romana’s Pilates. In 2017 Irene completed Roman's Pilates program under Javier Perez Pont supervision.
The other half of Pilatecnic is Antonio Parra, the one behind the lens of all our studio photos, as well as managing Pilatecnic social media content.
Antonio completed a Degree in Biology and a Master in Conservation Biology. Before he heard about Pilates, he researched at University of Seville. Antonio loves sports- he competed in a basketball team, participated in XC duathlon, and other athletic activities. He learned about Pilates through Irene, and he realized just how good this practice was combined with other sports as part of competition training.
In 2017, he started training with Romana's Pilates teachers. Later, he decided to become teacher joining the program Uno Pilates Method, where he trained with Miguel Silva and Fabien Menegon. In 2019 Antonio completed the program under Miguel Silva supervision.
