STUDIO

Studio :Define first opened it's doors in Busan, South Korea in 2013, we were the first fully equipped Gratz studio in the city. The studio offers private, semi-private and group classes, hosting of visiting international pilates masters and inhouse education for new instructors and ongoing education/development for qualified pilates instructors. Studio :Define aims to be the centre for pilates education in Busan.

When I first tried a Gratz reformer, all the pilates training up to then began to make sense. The Gratz reformer speaks and guides me on what to do and how to connect my centre for the optimal result, and I can see this in my clients, too. I love to see the clients organically work from the inside with the equipment- its almost as if the reformer is doing part of my work for me. I cannot imagine not having Gratz equipment in my studio.

PEOPLE

Program director Kyung Hye is the heart and soul of Studio :Define. Having started her pilates journey as a client... She caught the bug! Initially qualifying as a contemporary pilates instructor then crossing over to classical style through the New York Pilates Studio teacher training system and following on with Vintage Pilates 'the work' program. Kyung Hye is continually developing her skills with 1 simple philosophy: whatever she learns she strives to pass onto others for the benefit of themselves, their clients and the pilates community in general.
